Taken from his best vineyards and aged for 18 months in oak, it’s closer to Amarone (the acclaimed Italian red famed for its depth of flavour) than its island home would suggest. Expect bold damson, blackcurrant and dried fig notes, with a rich oak spice that makes a wonderful pairing with a Sunday roast.
