This organic Gavi is from a bucolic paradise which shows why biodynamic farming and winemaking is such a great thing. The vineyards nestle between orchards of chestnuts, elderflower and acacia. Wildlife buzzes between the vines. The Cario family settled here nearly two decades ago – two decades which have seen immense change in the landscape as they’ve returned to biodynamic farming. This wine is an homage to that landscape. It has a real purity and freshness to it which immediately transports you to Piedmont. We love the blend of zingy flavour with stone-fruity, almond and blossom aromas. It’s a really pretty wine. The incredible crispness means it works perfectly with anything Mediterranean and tomato-based.
