Edouard Delaunay Gevrey-Chambertin 2017/18
The Eduoard Delauney estate fell out of family hands in the early \'90s. But Laurent Delaunay bought it back a few years ago with the aim to restore it back to its former glory. The team have since won 39 medals in the past few years. This is a real comeback story. And this Gevrey-Chambertin is deep and powerful, with notes of cherry, liquorice and coffee. Decant this for at least an hour before serving at room temperature with duck.
