Castello di Meleto \'San Pietro\' Chianti Classico DOCG 2019
The first mention of Castello di Meleto dates back to the 12th century. But it wasn\'t until the 1960s that the castle became the home of Viticola Toscana, a company that champions the winemaking traditions of the Chianti subzone of Giole. And this wine is classic Tuscany: a Chianti made from Sangiovese grapes in the \'Classico\' foothills. Expect complex notes of cherries, flowers and vanilla. Serve now with leg of lamb or cellar for another five years.
