Producta Vignobles was born out of a cooperative winemaking movement. They\'ve specialised in producing wine in Bordeaux since 1949. Marie Acier has been in charge of their winemaking for more than 20 years. And she certainly knows how to get the best from the region\'s native grape varieties. This is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Sémillon and 5% of a lesser-known grape, Muscadelle. Half of the blend is aged in oak on its lees for up to 4 months. This process creates a textured, slightly rich wine – a far cry from much of the Sauvignon Blanc you find in New Zealand. Try it with fish or soft cheeses.
