Château Tour Haut-Caussan, and its iconic windmill, is an inside secret for Médoc experts. Robert Parker, the world\'s most-famous wine critic, called the family-run estate \"excellent\". And it\'s known to compete with some of the prestigious classified estates in its best vintages. But as it\'s relatively unknown, its Cabernet/Merlot blends are still a bargain. Expect aromas of red and black fruits and smoke, flavours of ripe blackberries and cherries, firm tannins and a hint of oak. James Suckling gave this 2014 vintage 90 points. Try it with roast beef.
