Bodegas Parocinio wanted to make the finest expression of classic Rioja Alta Tempranillo. So they chose to grow their own grapes, pay their pickers by quality, not quantity and closely studied no less than 450 hectares of vineyards. As a result, this Crianza punches way above its price – and Tim Atkin MW named the 2017 vintage Best Value Red Rioja 2021. It\'s smooth and mellow, with hints of red cherry, tobacco and vanilla that are ideal with tapas.
