Santa Isle is a family-owned Maule Valley estate that originated as a 1930s fruit farm. Today, the set-up is considerably more sophisticated, as are the wines. This blend is made primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon. It has aromas of blackcurrant, black pepper and ripe red fruits – as well as an enticing note of chocolate. Soft and juicy tannins mean it’ll really shine when paired with grilled red meats or mature cheeses. The 2018 vintage won a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
