Offering a home to beneficial insects, particularly pollinators, could be the urban answer to a declining population of our wonderful insects who provide us with many benefits, and to the ecosystem through pollination, not to mention as an essential food source to some birds. Unfortunately due to us humans causing habitat loss, and pesticide damage, insect numbers are declining, but we can help give back, by providing accommodation, in a southerly facing insect house.
