70cl / 47% - Puebla is a mezcal made for Mezcales de Leyenda using rare tobala agave. These agaves can take more than a decade to be mature, and are normally harvested from the wild, however, this mescal uses sustainably-farmed agave, making certain that the precious plant won\'t disappear. It\'s distilled in copper pot stills in San Nicolas Huajuapan in Puebla from pit-cooked agave. The result is a fruity and very smoky spirit – the smokiness is almost like the peat smoke you find in Scotch whisky.
