Jacquart 2010 Cuvee Alpha Brut Champagne
75cl / 12.5% - This is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. The 2010 vintage was a difficult one but dry conditions in September saved the producers from a wet August. Ripe orchard fruits and hints of honeysuckle come through on the nose. The palate has notes of shortbread and lemon posset.
