70cl / 48% / Elixir Distillers - A nine-year-old Aultmore single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a batch of six barrels and bottled in 2020 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Cask series. Aromas of freshly-baked cinnamon roles mingle with poached pears, candy apples, autumn leaves and red cherries on the nose. The palate offers notes of custard cream biscuits, milky tea, coconut, hazelnut chocolate and caramel, with a bold splash of mango bursting through.
