Lyrarakis Vidiano 2019
75cl / 12.5% - This winery was established on the island of Crete in 1966, the family have devoted themselves to the revival of indigenous, almost extinct varietals from the islands. Vidiano is a white grape that has a character similar to Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose are notes soft fruits, green pear and citruus. The palate is all about gooseberry, freshly cut grass and lemon with a lovely herbaceous finish. Try this with a fish- or tomato-based dish.
