70cl / 48% / Elixir Distillers - A 2009 Mannochmore single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a batch of seven hogsheads for 11 years before being bottled in 2021 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Cask series. Aromas of lime, dill pickle, hay bales, apple sauce, bread-and-butter pudding and raspberry jelly fill the nose, complemented by notes of buttery toast, pear drops, toasted cardamom pods, custard and elderflower throughout the palate.
