Pommard Tavannes Domaine Ferand et Laurent Pillot 2018
75cl / 13.5% - The Pillot family have been growing grapes in Chassagne-Montrachet since the 19th century. Laurent, who has been in charge of the domaine for over ten years, is the fifth generation. On the nose dark fruits mix with freshly picked raspberry and a hint of toasted coconut and rosemary. The plate has structure and depth and needs time to open up to show the beautiful fruit behind. Drink this over a long leisurely meal of roast pork.
