75cl / 13% - This is the perfect wine to use in blind tasting as its colour will deceive even the savviest drinker. This is 100% Pinot Grigio that has been left on the skins to take on the colour and then aged in fig wood barrels. The result is outstanding. On the nose it has a really herbaceous character a hint of wormwood, nutmeg and iron. The palate is full and complex with notes of fig, forest floor and olive. This is a wine to drink with a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce.
