70cl / 48.4% / Douglas Laing - A 2009 Mortlach single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single refill hogshead for 12 years, before being bottled in September 2021 as part of its Old Particular series. Aromas of crunchy ginger nut biscuits, key lime pie and pistachio shells fill the nose, complemented by notes of marmalade, lemon sponge cake drizzled with honey, malted barley, pear drops and warm ginger spice throughout the palate.
