70cl / 46% / La Maison du Whisky - A 2009 Ardmore single malt from French indie bottler La Maison du Whisky, matured in an ex-bourbon cask for nine years before being bottled as part of its Artist Collective series. Aromas of floral peat, violets, dandelions, daisies, candied lemons, barley, camphor and honey fill the nose. The palate offers notes of coconut milk, hay, mint, soft smoke, peach, pear, sea salt and samphire that linger in the finish.
