70cl / 49.6% / World Class Spirits - A 1993-vintage Trinidad rum from Danish bottler 1423, made at the legendary Caroni distillery and matured in a single ex-bourbon barrel for 28 years, the sister cask of a previous release know as \"The Beast\", it was bottled in October 2021 as part of its Single Barrel Selection range. Aromas of dried dates, prunes, sticky gingerbread and astringent furniture polish fill the nose, complemented by notes of charcoal, rubber, garden herbs, peppery oak and a tang of sea salt throughout the palate.
