This is his project in San Juan at 1500 meters above sea level and the vines are over 50 years old. On the nose pretty jammy fruit, black tea, sweet liqourice and nutmeg. The palate is all about powerful black fruits, pepper and has heavenly silky smooth tannins. Try this with a roasted meat dish.
