Drouet et Fils Poc\'han 2011 / 9 Year Old / Armorik Whisky Cask Finish
70cl / 45% - A creative release from Drouet et Fils, distilled in 2011 the eau-de-vie was matured in Cognac casks for seven years, before being finished for two years in casks that previously held whisky from French distillery Armorik in Brittany. Aromas of ripe red apples and freshly-cut straw fill the nose, complemented by notes of stewed fruit, vanilla, hints of wood smoke, apricots, peppery oak and sea salt throughout the palate.
