70cl / 46% / Douglas Laing - A 2011 Blair Athol single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing that was matured in a single refill bourbon barrel for a decade, before being bottled in 2021 as part of its Provenance series. Creamy aromas of brown sugar, grist and candied orange peel fill the nose, complemented by notes of dried fruits, oaky spice, stewed apple, caramel and custard throughout the palate.
