70cl / 53.8% / Dewar Rattray - A 2007 Caol Ila single malt from independent bottler AD Rattray that was matured in a single ex-bourbon hogshead for 14 years, before being bottled in September 2021 as part of its Cask Collection. Aromas of oily peat, briny seaweed and salt and pepper whitebait fill the nose, complemented by notes of grilled grapefruit, tart apple, tobacco smoke, walnut, ash and sharp orange oil throughout the palate.
