Unlike other mattress manufacturers, Vi-Spring produce all of their own springs, using supple alloy coated steel coils that adjust to the body while retaining their original shape.At the core of the Devonshire, thousands of hand-nested calico pocketed springs are able to move independently from one another providing a supportive night\'s sleep that moulds to the contours of the body.To ensure optimum comfort, this mattress comes in a choice of tensions from soft to firm, to suit every kind of sleeper.While inferior quality mattresses require a metal frame to provide shape, Vi-Spring rely on two rows of masterful hand side-stitching that bonds the body to the spring unit giving the mattress a naturally supportive and resilient structure.Upholstered in an exquisite Belgian ticking of bonded British fleece wool and cotton, the Devonshire is finished with matching piping and hand tufted felt washers that hold the core elements in place and create the trademark domed surface.Finishing with a flourish of features, eight horizontal handles allow for easy installation and turning while a series of ventilated gauze roundels ensure a breathable interior.
