This is the only Radical SR5 we know of that\'s available for public drives in the whole world making it one of the most exclusive race car drives we sell. In fact only 27 of these special series SR5s were manufactured by Peterborough-based Radical Sportcars. The idea was to create an endurosport race car capable of competing in long distance races. The result was this LMP-inspired SR5 - and it\'s pretty awesome. In case you\'re wondering LMP stands for Le Mans Prototype. That goes some way to explaining the design of this special SR5. From the drive planes to the diffusers and carbon bi-plane wing it\'s all about maximising downforce. Weighing in at just 570kg the SR5 is certainly the featherweight of the racing world - and it handles beautifully. Setting this Radical apart the SRS is powered by a Honda K20 car engine (found in the likes of the Honda Civic Type R) as opposed to a motorbike engine which is the usual spec in a Radical car. It comes complete with six-speed paddleshift gearbox and all the racing gadgets and gizmos you could ever need. Being an open-cockpit racing sports car means you get to hear all the right noises that this Radical makes in abundance. It has incredible torque and acceleration and the proof is most definitely in the aggressive sound of this SR5 as you take it for a spin around the track. If you\'ve driven other sports cars or race cars before driving a Radical SR5 feels totally different. It\'s rugged yet refined; simple yet robust. It\'s very fast. It\'s noisy.
