An LED transformer/driver is used to power low voltage (12v) LED bulbs and strip lighting. LED lighting requires a constant voltage to work properly. If you\'re using a non-LED compatible transformer, you may experience flickering, buzzing or reduced lifespan of your bulbs. 20% of the transformer capacity needs to be left over to prevent overloading. This particular transformer is not suitable if you\'re using dimmable bulbs, however, we do have dimmable transformers available. Please contact us if you’re unsure on compatibility.
