You’ll then be introduced to your Captain as he talks you through the route you’ll be taking, as well as the weather conditions and basics of flying in an aircraft. After a short safety briefing, you’ll be ready to set off and begin your adventure!Following an exciting take off, you’ll begin your journey towards Newcastle, firstly passing over Durham and its impressive cathedral. Next, you’ll get to spot the stunning Angel of the North sculpture, before moving on to Newcastle city centre, where you’ll see well known landmarks such as the Tyne Bridges and the Sage Gateshead. Shortly after passing over Newcastle, you’ll enter Northumberlandia park where the breath-taking human landform sculpture The Lady of The North resides. The sculpture scales 100 feet in height and spans over 400 metres, making it one of the largest land sculptures in existence. Nothing can compare to seeing the sculpture from above in all her glory, and as drones are not permitted at the park, this may be our only chance to snap some impressive pictures!
