Driving Experience Days: Off-road buggies—the most fun you can have on four wheels! During this eight-hour advanced experience in Wiltshire, you’ll learn to drive a high performance 4x2 buggy on gravel, while receiving feedback from a professional instructor. On arrival, you’ll be met by your instructor who’ll begin the course with a classroom briefing. This will introduce the basic principles of understeer, oversteer and vehicle control, as well as some essential safety info. Advanced training will also cover racing lines, throttle control, drifting, off-road braking, handbrake turns, the Scandinavian flick, vehicle set-up and obstacles. You’ll then head to the grass covered circuit for the first of eight sessions in the 220-horsepower Walker-Adams Revolution 4×2 buggy. Between these drives, your instructor will offer tips for improving your performance, and as if that weren’t enough, you’ll also enjoy eight timed sessions in a less powerful—but no less thrilling—single seater Rebel buggy.
