You’ll spend 90 thrilling minutes taking control of an Alvis CVR(T) Spartan Tank, a Leyland DAF 45/150, and a Dennis Sable XL Fire Engine. Your day begins on arrival at the driving centre in Bicester. There, you’ll sign in, and be greeted by your qualified instructors for the day. After a quick introduction and a safety briefing … it’s time to drive! Your instructors will introduce you to the first of your vehicles for the day, the Alvis CVR(T) Spartan Tank. As you drive the 8-tonne tank around the track, you’ll feel the full force of the 4.2 litre, 6 cylinder petrol engine delivering over 200 horsepower. With this much power behind it, this vehicle can reach speeds of up to 50mph! Next, you’ll take control of the powerful Leyland DAF 45/150. This truck weighs just over 6 tonnes, and boasts a huge diesel engine. Your instructor will kit you out in safety gear and take you through the features of this unique vehicle before you take it out for a spin, testing its abilities against different terrains. Finally, you\'ll hop onboard the Dennis Sable XL Fire Engine to make a childhood dream a reality! The Dennis Sable features a Cummins 8.2 litre engine which you can put to the test with a series of challenges, including racing to an emergency call!
