This substantially reduces the effects of manufacturing. Production emissions are cut by 80% and water consumption reduced by 90%.(These yarns are traced by the \'Global Recycle Standard\' system, a European standard for the integrity of fibres.) As a 40 denier knit, these tights are semi-opaque, and have a matte appearance on the leg, every bit as smooth as regular production tights. They have an opaque boxer brief with sewn-in cotton gusset.
