What is Beechams All In One liquid? Beechams All In One Liquid provides the relief you need for cold symptoms, including a chesty cough, aches and pains and a blocked nose. Each dose contains three agents: Paracetamol to relieve your headache, shivers, aches and pains, Phenylephrine, a decongestant to relieve your catarrh and help clear your blocked nose and sinuses, Guaifenesin, an expectorant to relieve chesty, productive coughs. These three agents work together to relieve pain, loosen congestion and decrease swelling of your nose and ears. Beechams liquid is easy to take, non drowsy, sweet tasting and suitable for most adults and children over 12. How to take Beechams All In One liquid Beechams all in one liquid is for oral use only. For adults and children over the age of 12 - Take 20ml every 4 hours when needed. DO NOT take more than 4 doses in a 24 hour period. Do not use Beechams All In One for more than 5 consecutive days. If you feel that you need to continue taking this medication for longer than 5 days please contact your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Warnings Do not drink alcohol while taking Beechams All In One. Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. These can be found in the patient information leaflet. Always read the patient information leaflet before taking any medication. Keep all medication of sight and reach of children. The ingredients in Beechams all in one liquid may cause severe liver damage if taken in too high doses, too frequently. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Do not use if you suffer from kidney or liver problems, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, phaeochromocytoma or glaucoma. Do not use if you are currently taking beta blockers, tricyclic antidepressants or have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors in the last two weeks. Do not use if you are taking any other form of paracetamol.
