What are Beechams Flu Plus Caplets? Beechams Flu Plus Caplets provide relief from sinus pain and the symptoms of colds and flu, including fatigue and drowsiness. Each caplet contains paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride and caffeine. Paracetamol is a pain killer which will help to relieve headaches, sore throats, fevers, aches and pains. Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant which will relieve blocked noses and painful sinuses. Caffeine is a mild stimulant to help prevent tiredness and fatigue that can accompany a cold or the flu. How do I take Beechams Flu Plus Caplets? Beechams flu plus caplets are for oral use only. Adults and children over 16 years - Take 2 caplets every 4 hours as required. Do not take more than 8 caplets (4 doses) in any 24 hour period. Warnings Do not give to children under 16 years of age. Do not take for more than 7 days unless advised to do so by a doctor. Do not exceed the dosage above. Do not take with other flu, cold or decongestant products and avoid excessive intake of caffeine. Do not take any other paracetamol containing medication whilst taking Beechams flu plus caplets. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.
