Anthisan Bite and Sting Cream. Anthisan Cream is a antihistamine that works by relieving the pain, itching and inflammation associated with insect bites; stings, nettle rash, sunburn, mild burns and scalds. Symptomatic relief of insect bites, stings and stinging nettle rash. Anthisan cream contains: Mepyramine maleate 2% w/w. For best results use Anthisan Cream as soon as possible after the bite or sting. Do not use Anthisan Cream if you have eczema or extensively broken skin. Anthisan Cream is for external use only. Keep Anthisan Cream out of reach of children. Anthisan Cream is for external use only. Do not apply the Anthisan Cream to raw or broken areas of skin, or skin that is producing a discharge. Avoid contact with the eyes and the skin lining the inside of the nose, mouth and vagina. Stop using Anthisan cream and consult your doctor if you experience a burning sensation or rash while using it, or if your symptoms persist. Anthisan cream is not for long-term use. Do not use Anthisan cream on large areas of skin unless directed by your doctor. Adults and children over 3 years of age: apply Anthisan cream to the affected area 2-3 times a day for up to 3 days
