What are Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Capsules?nLemsip Max Cold & Flu capsules are used to treat the symptoms of cold and flu.nThey contain paracetamol and phenylephrine hydrochloride which act together to effectively relieve your symptoms and help you get on with your day.nParacetamol will ease your aches and pains, while reducing your fever and soothing a sore throat. Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant that works by reducing the swelling in your nasal passages to relieve nasal congestion and pressure, which can lead to headaches.nHow do I take Lemsip Max Cold & Flu?nLemsip max cold and flu are for oral use only.nAdults and children over 16 - Swallow the capsules whole with water, do not chew. Take 2 capsules every 4-6 hours when required to a maximum of 4 doses, or 3 doses if a night time paracetamol containing product is being used. Do not take more than 4 doses of paracetamol in a 24 hour period.nWhen should Lemsip Max Cold & Flu not be taken?nDo not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.nDo not take this product if:nYou have a serious heart condition.nYou have high blood pressurenYou have an overactive thyroidnYou are taking (or have taken in the last 14 days) a MOAI used to treat depression.nYou have an enlarged prostate.nWarningsnLemsip max cold and flu is not suitable for children under the age of 16.nAs with all medication, please read the product information leaflet before taking Lemsip Max Cold & Flu.nKeep all medicines out of sight and reach of children.
