What are Nurofen Back Pain SR Ibuprofen Capsules?nNurofen back pain SR capsules contain ibuprofen 300mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory which acts to relieve pain and reduce swelling. They provide rapid relief from back pain, muscular pain and rheumatic pain.nHow do I take Nurofen Back Pain SR Capsules?nFor oral administration and short term use only.nAdults and children over 12 - swallow 1 or 2 capsules with water, twice daily. The capsules should be taken together with water and swallowed whole. Do not chew or suck the caspules. Leave at least 8 hours between doses. Do not take more than 4 capsules in any 24 hour period.nChildren aged 12-18 - if the product is required for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen please speak to a doctor.nAdults - if the product is required for more than 10 days, or if symptoms worsen please speak to a doctor.nWarningsnDo not give to children under 12 years.nDo not take if you have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding.nDo not take if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other related painkillers.nDo not take if you are taking other NSAID painkillers or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg.nDo not take if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.nIf you have asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, have had a stroke, heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.nAlways read the patient information leaflet before taking any medication.nPlease keep all medication out of sight and reach of children.
