The Reliance Medical Cotton Gauze Reliswab is available as both sterile or non-sterile. Commonly used for medical dressings and wound treatment to provide protection, cushioning and prevention of maceration. The gauze swabs should not be placed directly onto a wound due to the strong adhesive properties of the dressing which makes them exceptionally durable and built to last. It will still allow any fluids to be readily absorbed and prevent any associated dryness. When used correctly, the gauze swabs can drastically minimise the risk of infection and reduce healing time of a sacrificial wound.
