A welcome sight during the winter and spring with beautifully rich flowers. Luscious, reddish-purple flowers with pale creamy yellow centres add a much needed splash of colour to the winter garden. Each one is 3-5cm across, and incredibly tough whatever the weather! A hardy perennial with flowers from February - April, rising up to 35cm above leathery evergreen leaves. Incredibly simple to grow, hellebores will slowly establish into small clumps, thiving in lower light and shady spots. They can be grown in pots too, provided they do not dry out in summer.
