Art In Bronze Wren With Rowan, AIB-162 This stunning Wren by sculptor Keith Sherwin features soft markings on its design, contrasting with the red of the Rowan berry. Crafted from solid foundry bronze using the ancient method of lost wax casting, the design is finished by the art of patination where acids are applied to the surface of the bronze and heat is applied to create a deep rich brown patina. The bird and foliage of this piece have been delicately hand painted with protective special wax to protect the colour and bronze for years to come.
