Kateri Quilted Throw Midnight Inspired by the Shipibo textiles created by the indigenous Peruvian people living along the Amazon\'s Ucayali river. Their rich textile designs have been described as \'visual music\' with the Shipibo tribe able to read their designs like a piece of music. Taking these patterns and traditions as inspiration the Kateri collection brings together a Shipibo inspired tile design, in rich indigo and white composed of 50% cotton/ 50% bamboo, bamboo chosen to stay true to the materials used to create original Shipibo pattern. The complementing tactile accessories include a quilted bedspread with kantha style stitching in 100% cotton, the cotton/ velvet cushion with ikat damask pattern in deep navy blue and the white square pillowcase with navy embroidery detailing.
