Boasting a maximum flow of 2,500lph this complete underwater filtration solution can power ponds up to 9,000 litres (2,000 gallons). The reliable pond pump can be used to create a waterfall and/or fountain display. The size of the flow directed to each element can be controlled by the T-piece adjuster supplied. Some users will choose to omit the fountain kit and attach the hose-tail directly to the pump to power a waterfall. If a fountain is required then a comprehensive Fountain Kit is included with telescopic riser pipes and a choice of three displays. As water is drawn towards the pump due to currents created by the pump action dirt and debris is drawn into the unit. These solid particles get stuck in the large filter-part of the product. Once the filter foam inside the pump gets full of dirt it is easy to gain access to the filter housing by simply flicking open the locking catches. Under the filter foam is three \'pods\' of biomedia - plastic kaldness and zeolite. This biomedia is there to encourage healthy bacteria to thrive in your pond - keeping your pond in natural balance. Finally the pond pump boasts an integrated UVC. This part of the pump powers an ultra-violet bulb that stops the pond water from going green in the sunshine.
