They are guaranteed to be produced from non-GM soya beans grown from certified IP (Identity Preserved) seeds, and are tested for absence of genetically modified DNA. The product can be used in cooking as a thickening agent to help bind mixtures and create smooth blends, for example in soups, sauces and dressings. They are also ideal to be taken by those following calorie controlled, low fat, low cholesterol diet. The recommended daily serving (total of 10.5g) of Lecithin Granules provides 3.4g of linoleic acid. There is evidence to show that a balanced diet providing 10g of linoleic acid per day contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
