It comes in at an incredible 172g which makes it one of the most lightweight jackets on the market. It features Galvin\'s Gore-Tex Shakedry technology. The Gore-Tex membrane is the outside layer of the jacket instead of being sandwiched between fabric layers. This ensures that any rainwater \'beads\' on the surface and is almost immediately displaced. This stops any water penetration to the layers below. The jacket is therefore fully waterproof.
