The D-Ring Snaffle is a fixed ring bit that aids steering and prevents the bit from slipping through the horse\\\'s mouth but does not have the amount of cheek pressure that a fulmer has. The D-Ring Snaffle features copper rollers on the mouthpiece of the bit which prevent the horse from leaning on and grabbing hold of the bit and also help to encourage mouthing and salivation.
