Korsteel Weymouth Loose Ring Bradoon. This bit should be used in conjuction with a curb bit also known as the Weymouth which makes up a double bridle. The fitting of the Weymouth Loose Ring Bradoon should be fitted the same as a normal snaffle would. The Weymouth Loose Ring Bradoon when used in conjunction with the Weymouth bit should be 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer than the curb bit to ensure both bits lie flat. The single joint of the Korsteel Weymouth Eggbutt Bradoon has a nutcracker action which acts on the tongue lips and bars of the horses mouth. The loose ring on the loose ring bradoon stops the horse leaning on the bit and allows the rider to move the bit around in the horses mouth.
