This term was coined in the early 1980’s to describe a red blend from Tuscany, with the use of wine grapes that are not only indigenous to Italy, particularly Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah! The tour departs at 8.30 am from your hotel/harbour in Livorno, Lucca, Pisa or PiombinoIn the first winery you\'ll meet the wine hospitality manager for the vineyard and cellar tour, followed by 3 tastings of their wines. At the end of this wine tasting you\'ll have a first glimpse of the wines produced in this area. At the end of the first wine tasting you\'ll be brought to the second winery (30 minutes distance). This will be a 3-hour itinerary to fully explore viticulture, architecture, the pure essence of wine and the charm of Tuscan hospitality.
