TRAIN DEPARTURE FROM OLLANTAYTAMBO BY TRAIN OLLANTAYTAMBOApproximately at 4:00 in the morning we will be at your hotel in Cusco to transfer you to the train station located in Ollantaytambo (about 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Cusco), where we board the train and start our journey to the town “Aguas Calientes”where our guide will be waiting for us. When we reached the citadel of Machu Picchu our guide will start showing you around and explaining about the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Holy Solar Watch, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries, altogether generally taking more than two hours. Afterwards you will have free time so you can take a walk on your ownIn the afternoon/evening we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo (depending on the time of departure of your train) your way back will be the same route as when you arrived.When you exit the train we will be waiting for you at the train station to drive you back to Cusco.
