Mikumi National Park is known as the ideal park for travelers who have less time to visit other bigger game reserves. It is popular because one can still have a similar experience and see wildlife such as lions, zebras, antelopes and hippos without travelling to northern Tanzania parks.Mikumi is considered Tanzania\'s 4th largest national park. Your safari experience begins with a drive from Dar es Salaam towards Mikumi National Park for about 4-5 hours. Those already in Zanzibar can also come for this tour.
