The amazing endless coastline, canyons and rivers of southern Turkey is the perfect playground for adventures on land and sea.The mountains behind Kas are full of deep canyons, but we usually visit the Kibris Canyon, that has some of the most spectacular natural phenomena among the Taurus Mountains. An impressive gorge, where springs and waterfalls cascade into the rapidly flowing cold river and is ideal for canyoning, abseiling, swimming and plunging into the pools of mountain water.There is also a free day to relax and enjoy more of the local sights or, for the more adventurous, optional paragliding. The beautiful scenery and chilled out atmosphere in Kas make it a fantastic base for the week.Hop on the bikes and head up into a cedar forest, following the trails in the wooded valleys and the Kibris Gorge which is on the left, with some fast descents and challenging climbs to the highest point of 1450m Akörü.
