The map shows the region’s road network from the main highways to selected small local roads and tracks, prominently highlighting the course of the Great Ocean Road between Geelong and Warrnambool. National parks and other protected areas are clearly marked. The map has no geographical coordinates. Accompanying index lists “touring attractions”.Additional panels next to the main map and on the reverse provide street plans covering local towns, highlighting selected sights and facilities in central Geelong (with a street index), plus in Portland, Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Camperdown, Colac, Warrnambool, Anglesea, Torquay, Port, Fairy, Apollo Bay and Lorne.
