3000 Plus - The Munros Map
3000 Plus: The Original Munro Map from Gordon D. Henderson, showing the geographical distribution of every Munro summit recorded since the original tables compiled in 1891. The map incorporates the 1997 revision of the Munro Tables into the 284 mountains and the 227 tops, and includes the 90 declassified summits. The map covers Scotland north of the Glasgow – Edinburgh line at 1:350,000 approx. Altitude colouring provides an overall picture of the topography, with the Corbetts also marked. Ridges of the individual summit groups are annotated to show Munro Mountains, Munro Tops and the declassified summits. Enlargements are provided to show the An Teallach and the Cuillins in proper detail. Each group is cross-referenced to the surrounding regional panels which provide for each one a list of all the peaks accompanied by silhouette profiles. The map also shows the road network and railway lines with stations, and indicates locations of SYHA and independent hostels, open bothies and outdoor training centres. Also marked are the sheet lines of the relevant Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 Landranger maps.
